What is dry lining / plaster boarding ?.

A

Plaster Boarding, this is the process of using slabs of pre-formed plaster in sheet format to cover large areas of exposed brick works, wooden stud or metal frame. The joints are then usually taped and subsequently either filled to the same level as the board, or the entire board is then skimmed over to provide a smooth finish.
